The idea of this painting was in my head for a while. Ever since I started targeting Tarpon and learning about their behavior, I was fascinated of the fact that most of the time they preferred a relatively small blue-crab. 

Many of my local guides and old wise man that share the best of the stories, would always swear on this crab/tarpon combination. The fact that a blue crab can get you that "trophy tarpon", is the main subject of this surrealist painting I made. I hope you guys find a connection to this piece I as I do myself.
