About the Artist

Yusniel Santos is a self-taught marine and wildlife artist known for putting his surrealistic imagination into his works. Born in 1986 in Havana, Cuba, he started showing interest in drawing at the age of 2 and never looked back. After immigrating to the United States in his teens, he was able to fully enjoy the freedoms of the beautiful nature around him. Living in Florida, his passion for fishing and diving grew which inspired him to capture those experiences on canvas.

His artwork focuses primarily on sport fishing and wildlife subjects in a variety of mediums. If you caught him working in his studio on any given day, you would see him go from a digital painting on the computer to an oil painting on a canvas to a ballpoint pen drawing on paper.
